Skyport Tycoon

Skyport Tycoon scratches the build-and-optimize itch nicely. You start with one runway and a cramped terminal, then slowly expand, balancing passenger flow against your budget.

The fun is in watching your little crowds move. When you finally fix a bottleneck and the queues clear, it's oddly satisfying. The numbers are visible and the tooltips explain them, so you're never guessing.

It leans a bit on waiting at higher tiers, and I wished the late game had more surprises. Still, as a calm, numbers-driven sim for a phone, it holds up well.
